As we all pause and reflect today, we wanted to share this message from Youth Pastor Zack Fisher:
"Today we look back in remembrance of the events that happened on September 11th, 2001. The evil of the world was shown on a global stage, and still today we see this happening. I encourage us all to take a couple of minutes to stop and pray for those affected by the events of the past and the events that are still happening today. Despite everything we serve the God who remains faithful, the God who provides refuge, and the God who loves. Daily we are reminded to put our faith in Him and Him alone."
“How priceless your faithful love is, God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” Psalm 36:7
Tomorrow our youth will meet after the Mavs game at What-a-Burger on Grand Avenue (Hwy 80) for a bite to eat. Youth will also meet on Sunday night for bible study. Contact youth pastor Zack Fisher for more details. (zack@firstmarshall.com)
Looking to next week, a new women's bible study, "The Three Battlegrounds", led by Luanne Neely, will begin Thursday, September 18th, at 9:30 am. Please contact the church office for more information.
Currently, on Wednesdays, Grief Ministry will meet from 1:30pm - 3pm in the parlor. FMC Kids and Youth meet from 5:30pm-7:30pm, and Choir meets at 6pm.
