Holiday News / Ministries
Youth Bake Sale
LIFElight Youth will be having a bake sale following the Sunday worship service on November 23rd. Bring a baked good and buy a baked good...all proceeds will go toward sending our youth to camp!
Church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner
Our church-wide Thanksgiving dinner will be held this Sunday, November 23rd, from 11:15 am - 12:45 pm. This will be a come-and-go event to allow people to come after church services and/or Sunday school.
Canned Food Drive
The deadline to donate cans of cranberry sauce is next Thursday, November 20th! If you would like to donate, there are two boxes available (lobby & nursery entrance) to drop off cans. Each year Mission Marshall provides Christmas-oriented foods to clients in December so that they can provide a Christmas dinner for their families. Marshall churches sign up to provide certain foods to make this possible. Help us reach our goal of 250 cans!
Operation Christmas Child / Shoebox Ministry
This Sunday will be the "blessing of the boxes". Please be sure to bring your shoeboxes Sunday if you haven't already done so.
Society of St. Stephen
Every year the Society of St. Stephen endeavors to help needy children within our community experience the joy of Christmas. With so many children to help this year, the society is in urgent need of callers, shoppers and volunteers to help with the packing and distribution of items. If you would like to help, please contact Heather Carlile at (903)926-1052.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue to add new activities to our calendar!
Youth Pastor Zack Fisher will be delivering this Sunday's sermon from the book of Matthew. Sermon notes can be found on our website under the "Resources" tab.
